Welcome to the East Bethel Fire Department web site. It is our hope that this web site provides the basic information our citizens and visitors require. The East Bethel Fire Department was organized in 1959, and has a proud history of providing efficient and trusted fire and rescue services to the citizens of East Bethel. The 38 firefighters of the East Bethel Fire Department are extremely well trained and dedicated to the protection of our citizens. We are confident that we will provide the best fire and rescue services available.
The East Bethel Fire Department's primary responsibility is for fire suppression, rescue, fire inspections, arson investigations, fire prevention and to provide first responder medical care for the sick and injured. We protect approximately 13,000 citizens over an area of about 48 square miles. The City has an 8 mile stretch of state highway 65 running north and south that brings about 32,000 motorists daily through our City. Our active mutual aide/auto aide programs ensure sufficient resources from and for our neighboring fire departments.
Our paid on-call firefighters provide 24 hour-a-day response from three stations.
Station 1 is at 2751 Viking Blvd. NE
Station 2 is at 2375 221st Ave. NE
Station 3 is at 342 Forest Road
We operate a variety of emergency equipment packages including four engines, two rescues, two utility rigs, two tankers, two grass rigs, and a rescue boat.
The Insurance Services Office, which evaluates and rates fire protection services, has rated the City of East Bethel a Class 7 ISO rating. Be sure to let your insurance company know this rating to receive the best insurance rate.
